Huawei Malaysia Sales Elite Challenge is a large-scale sales-related competition organized by Huawei Malaysia specifically for Malaysian university students. It aims to enable students to explore Huawei sales-related knowledge and to discover students' abilities to develop innovative and real-world business solutions.

The challenge takes place across two phases: the preliminary round and the grand final. It caters to all Malaysian university students and who have graduated in the year 2021 from various majors.



Objectives



To expose students to real-life business situations and enhance their understanding of the professional sales pathway
To enrich students' sales knowledge and enhance their interest in the sales industry through an exciting and interactive series of challenges
To provide the opportunity for students to learn from elites and experienced sales professionals
To develop students' analytical,problem solving and presentation skills
Broaden students’ career prospects and enhance their employability

Eligibility

Open to all undergraduates and postgraduate students from all majors. Students who have just graduated in 2021 are welcome to participate.

Preliminary Round
Individual Presentation
  1. At this stage, you are required to present LIVE, your self-introduction PPT submitted earlier to our distinguished judges, and be prepared for a Q&A session.
  2. Top 50 participants with the highest scores will ascend to the grand final.
27th November 2021
Annoucement of the 50 finalists and revealation of grand final case topic
3rd December 2021
Submission for solution proposals by 11.59pm, 3rd December 2021.
4th December 2021

Team Presentation
  1. The grand final will be held virtually where the 10 teams will each have 30 minutes to present their solution proposals to the panel of judges.
  2. Top 3 Teams and Top 10 Individuals with the highest scores will be awarded prizes. *More details will be announced in due course.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the three (3) winning teams.

The Top 10 individual participants with the highest scores will receive medals, certificates of participation.

All finalists might stand a chance to join Huawei Malaysia.

FAQ


  1. How will I get notified if I get shortlisted?
    We will notify all the shortlisted participants via email.

    Preliminary Round: before 25th November 2021.
    Grand Final: on 27th November 2021.
  2. Is this sales elite challenge open for non-business major students?
    We welcome and encourage students from non-business majors, especially engineering and computer science majors students to participate.
  3. What is the application process and do we participate in the challenge as individuals or as teams?
    There will be 3 different phases of the Huawei Malaysia Sales Elite Challenge.

    Registration (Individual):
    Participants are required to submit individual applications upon registration.

    Preliminary Round (Individual):
    At this stage, participants are required to present individually and there will be a Q&A session.

    Final Round (Team basis):
    Top 50 finalists will be assigned into a team of 5 and each team will be given 30 minutes to present their solution proposals to the judging panel based on the case given.

  5. Will the finalist be entitled to job opportunities in Huawei Malaysia?

  6. Can graduates apply?
    Graduates can apply so long as they meet the requirement that they have graduated in the year 2021 and with less than 1 year of working experience.
